Aikido VS Taekwondo 合気道とテコンドーで闘ってみました

Hello Everyone . I am Tomohiko Nakamura of the contributor of this Video.

Now I am not in Mexico. I'm living in Wakayama prefecture(where Aikido Founder Ueshiba Morihei sensei was born) ,Japan.

As you know 11 March , Big earthquakes and Tsunamis occur in the Tohoku region Japan, many japanese people died. It is so sad. All Japanese people think now it is the time to help Tohoku Region's Japanese.

so please let me say my message:
To overcome this situation, many Japanese have thought about what is needed , I believe it is necessary to fill the country's economic vitality of Japan.

Everyone! Japanese Tourism Industry targeting foreigners are just begining. Come to Japan , there was little damage, the Kansai region, Kyushu Region, Okinawa , Hokkaido, Chubu region.
Japan has the most advanced things in the world and also has unique culture and nature. Coverage of overseas nuclear power tend to be exaggerated, there is no problem for sightseeing to Japan. Come to the beautiful country and my hometown Wakayama. Please let me show you one of my home town's Hot spring.

　I think many people feel this fight is low level. I think so too. This is not high level aikido. But my thinking is Ueshiba Morihei sensei is my last ideal attainment point. His aikido style was established while doing various trial and error. So this fight is one of that process. Remember ! He was not God. He was a person of terrible effort . I want to learn his effort style too.

One day , It was asked by one of the students, "How does the aikido fight against taekwondo?" And, he said. "Let's take a picture of the appearance in which it fights against the aikido by taekwondo with the video. And, when I recommend aikido for my friend, the image is effective if that video do up to youtube. " So I accepted his offer.Our condition of that time is as follows.

1 Taekwondo　guy( Mr Carlos175cm ,63Kg) puts on the glove.
2 The attack to the face and the foot(Low kick) is admitted.
3Mr Carlos has not been practiced Taekwondo for about two years even though, He had been doing taekwondo for 2 or 3 years.
4 He has been practiced Boxing for 4 months.
5 he can grap my body and throw down.

My condition (171cm ,70 Kg)
1 I can grip his body.
2 I can throw down him.

After this fight , other Taekwondo guy offerde me to fight . He seemed to have had the doubt in the content of this video. And, it has seriously applied for the duel even if my ability is tested. Therefore, it was not atmosphere that did the video shooting. I accepted his offer. He was black belt 2 grades of taekwondo. he practiced for 7 years. He was tall (185 cm,65Kg?). But Our fight　became the same content. he just shout and kicked my low leg about 2 or 3 times. I did take down him. and finished.

テコンドー経験者の生徒に「合気道はテコンドーに対してどう戦うのか？」と質問されたので闘う羽目になりました。

闘いの最中にかけた小手返しは、これ以前に何度も格闘中に彼（カルロス君）に掛けて極まっていたのですが今回は彼も学習し、初めて掛かりませんでした。　　でも、一般的に小手返しが一番かけやすいです。　

実はこの動画は以前UPしたことがあったのですが、テコンドー家から批判が相次いだので中断したのを再UP したのものです。メキシコはテコンド競技人口が多い(北京オリンピックでテコンドーの金メダリストが２人でました）ので最初のUPから２ヶ月で17000 くらいの動画再生数でした。

で、初回にUPした後、このビデオを見て怒ったテコンドー家に決闘を挑まれました。　このビデオで闘ってくれた彼は黒帯でもなく、ブランクもあったのでそれほどレベルは高くないですが、その挑戦者は身長185cmで7年の練習経験で現役黒帯2段でした。　けっこう怒っていたので緊張しましたが、結果は同じでした。　2、3回くらいローキックを入れられましたが、間合いを殺して入り身→倒して固め技で制するという具合でした。　3回くらい床に押さえ込んで挑戦者も納得してくれました。
